Lea Hricikova
Lea’s background started with Law and Politics of International Security, then moved over to Business Continuity and now to Information Security, Risk Management and Audits. Thanks to the experience in the public sector, understanding compliance requirements is a breeze to her. She likes to untangle chaos and order it into an easily understandable structure.
Next to doing business impact analysis, writing continuity plans or organising exercises, Lea is interested in if business continuity can also bring around cultural changes to organisations. She is an advocate for the Adaptive BC Manifesto after coming from the school of standards like the GPG or ISO 22301.
Lea is also into information security – from the perspective of strategy and policy. In her opinion, those better be short and effective. She tirelessly looks for automation in building ISMS and managing risks (she is still in search of the perfect tool but has tried out plenty).
Lea is volunteering for festivals, attending conferences or security hackathons in her spare time.
